The VDO 360-081-030-018C pressure sender is designed to accurately measure and report pressure levels ranging from 0 to 5 Bar (0 to 72.5 PSI, or 0 to 500 KPa). This robust device can withstand a maximum pressure of 30 Bar for up to 2 seconds. It features an M10 x 1 tapered short thread with a total length of 19.5 mm, including the nut, and a thread length of 11 mm. The recommended torque for installation is 30 Nm. This sensor operates effectively within a temperature range of -25 °C to +100 °C and is compatible with oil, fuel, and air pressure mediums. In terms of electrical specifications, the pressure sender operates on a voltage range of 6 to 24 V DC. It has a resistor range from 10 to 184 Ohms and uses a single-pole common ground for the pressure sensor signal. The device includes a warning contact set to activate at 1.20 Bar ± 0.15 Bar, with a maximum switching capacity of 5 Watts for non-inductive loads. This contact closes when pressure decreases. Both the pressure sender and warning contact connectors are equipped with M4 plastic knurled nuts for secure attachment.
