Simrad Precision-9 Compass
The Simrad Precision-9 Compass is a physical compass designed for marine navigation. It has a compact size, measuring 36 x 119 x 119mm (1.42 x 4.69 x 4.69 inches), making it suitable for various applications. The compass can be easily mounted using a bracket or bulkhead.
With a weight of 0.165kg, plus an additional 0.130kg for the bracket, the Precision-9 Compass is lightweight and easy to handle. Its power consumption is minimal, with a maximum of 0.4W when loaded on NMEA2000. It operates on a supply voltage of 12V DC (8-16V DC) via NMEA2000.
The compass is designed to withstand different environmental conditions. It has an operating temperature range of -25 to +65ºC (-13 to +149ºF) and a storage temperature range of -30 to +70ºC (-22 to +158ºF). With an IPx7 waterproof rating, it can withstand exposure to water.
Connectivity-wise, the Precision-9 Compass is equipped with NMEA 2000 Micro-C port and offers 1 LEN (Load Equivalency Number). It is compliant with N2K PG Ns127250, 127251, 127257, and 127252 standards.
The Simrad Precision-9 Compass has received CE approval under the EMC directive 2014/30/EU, ensuring its compliance with European standards.
