The Simrad NAC-2 Autopilot Core Pack is a comprehensive solution for rudder-steered boats up to 10 metres (35 feet) in length. This pack includes the NAC-2 autopilot computer, RF25N rudder feedback unit, and Precision-9 solid-state compass. Additionally, all cabling and connectors required to build an NMEA 2000® network backbone or connect to an existing NMEA 2000® network are included.

The NAC-2 Autopilot Core Pack is compatible with various drive pumps, such as the Simrad RPU80, mechanical drives like the Simrad SD10, hydraulic linear drives including the HLD350, and solenoid valves. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of vessels.

One of the standout features of this core pack is the multiple control options available. You can choose from a range of dedicated autopilot controllers or control your autopilot directly from your existing Simrad multifunction display. If you have a dual-helm vessel, you can install extra autopilot stations for added convenience. Moreover, the Simrad WR10 wireless remote allows for instant steering and autopilot control from anywhere on board.

Installation and setup are made easy with the plug-and-play connectors included in the pack. These connectors minimize manual wiring, simplifying the installation process. The industry-standard NMEA 2000® networking ensures reliable connectivity to sensors, autopilot controllers, and multifunction displays located anywhere on board. The autopilot system features auto-tuning, which simplifies setup and ensures optimal steering performance. Additionally, the automatic compass calibration continuously improves heading accuracy as you travel.
