Weighing only 6.75 kg (14.9 lbs) without cable, it is lightweight and easy to handle.
In terms of power consumption, the radar has a maximum power consumption of 29W and a typical power consumption of 20W. It is recommended to use a 5A fuse rating for power supply. The radar operates at a supply voltage range of 10.5 - 31.2 VDC, making it compatible with both 12V and 24V systems.
The Simrad HALO24 Radar is built to withstand harsh marine environments. It has a waterproof rating of IPX6, ensuring its reliability even in wet conditions. With a humidity tolerance of 95% RH at 35°C (95°F) and an operating temperature range of -25° to +55°C (-13° to +130°F), it is capable of performing in various weather conditions.
