The Simrad HALO 3004 Open Array Radar is a high-performance radar system designed for marine navigation. With a power output of 130W and a range of 96 nm, this radar offers excellent detection capabilities for boaters and sailors.
Featuring Compass SafeSTD technology, the HALO 3004 is designed to be safe for use with compasses, ensuring accurate and reliable navigation. Its compact design, with dimensions of 324 mm x 429 mm x 339 mm (12.76" x 16.81" x 13.35"), allows for easy installation on any vessel.
The radar has a weight of 30 kg (66.1 lbs), making it suitable for both small and large boats. Its low power consumption of 45-75 W (average) at zero wind velocity ensures efficient operation, while the recommended fuse rating of 25 A for 12 V systems or 15 A for 24 V systems provides protection against electrical faults.
The Simrad HALO 3004 is designed to withstand harsh marine environments. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C (-13°F - 131°F) and a waterproof rating of IPX6, this radar can handle extreme weather conditions and exposure to water.
Connectivity options include an Ethernet port via the RI-50, allowing for easy integration with other marine electronics. However, there is no NMEA 2000 connection available. Navigation data, including heading information, can be sent to the radar over the Ethernet network.
