Simrad HALO 2004 Open Array Radar
Simrad HALO 2004 Open Array Radar is a cutting-edge radar system designed for marine navigation. With its powerful 50W output and a range of 72 nm, this radar ensures accurate and reliable detection of surrounding objects, even in challenging weather conditions.
The radar's compact design, measuring 324 mm x 429 mm x 339 mm (12.76" x 16.81" x 13.35"), allows for easy installation on any vessel. Weighing just 30 kg (66.1 lbs), it is lightweight yet sturdy, making it suitable for various marine applications.
In terms of electrical consumption, the Simrad HALO 2004 Open Array Radar operates at a maximum power consumption of 235 W at peak wind velocity. However, under normal conditions, the average power consumption ranges from 45-60 W at zero wind velocity. It is recommended to use a fuse rating of 25 A for 12 V systems or 15 A for 24 V systems.
Operating within a wide temperature range of -25°C to +55°C (-13°F to 131°F), this radar system is built to withstand extreme weather conditions. With an IPX6 waterproof rating, it guarantees reliable performance even when exposed to water.
Connectivity options include an Ethernet port via the RI-50, allowing for easy integration with other marine systems. Additionally, the radar system does not have NMEA 2000 connectivity, but it can receive heading and other navigation data over the Ethernet network.
The Simrad HALO 2004 Open Array Radar offers exceptional performance and reliability, making it an essential tool for marine navigation.
