Samlex BS-100 - Battery Split Relay Dual
This relay is designed for systems with two batteries, managing their connection based on voltage levels to ensure optimal charging and battery preservation. It uses a microprocessor to monitor and control the switch between the starter and auxiliary battery.
- The relay monitors the starter battery voltage and activates the switch when the voltage reaches 13.2 V (26.4 V) for 7 seconds or more, allowing the second battery to charge.
- When the vessel stops and the voltage drops to 12.8 V (25.6 V) or below for at least 60 seconds, the switch opens to keep the starter battery fully charged.
- Battery voltage is autodetected at 12 or 24 volts.
- Continuous power rating is 100 A, with a peak current of 300 A.
- Power consumption when off: 1.5 mA at both 12V and 24V; when on: 360 mA at 13.5V and 160 mA at 27V.
- Minimum load time is 60 seconds.
- Battery connections use M6 and Faston 6.3mm terminals.
- Supports battery cables up to 25mm².
- Fast out trigger occurs if voltage drops below 11.8 V (23.6 V) after 4 seconds.
