Philippi 71001001 - EM-box V3 -24V Energy Management Box
The energy management box minimizes the need for high-current cabling in the engine and battery system. It handles the complete charging and energy management of a modern single-engine yacht with up to 3 battery groups, including the starter, consumer, and bow batteries, as well as alternative charging sources such as solar, wind, and hydro generators. It even considers the DC connection of a combination inverter.
The EM box includes the following features:
- 10 high-performance shunts
- Charging current distributor for alternators
- 3 remote-controlled battery main switches
- Deep discharge protection
- Charging current distribution for the battery charger, solar system, wind generator, and hydrogenerator
- Ground busbar
- Main protection of the on-board network
- Engine emergency start via consumer battery
- Manual emergency actuation of the main switch
- P-bus interface for the system monitor PSM
The EM box allows for:
