Monitoring and Adjusting in Real Time

Equipped with the capability to connect to a current shunt, the WS500 monitors current to and from the batteries, enabling the controller to regulate charging based on a combination of system voltage and amperage supplied by the alternator. Additionally, it monitors alternator and battery temperatures, adjusting charging power in real time to ensure optimal safety and performance. When integrated with a BMS system, critical data is received via the CAN J1939 path, minimizing the need for external sensor connections.

Adaptable Profiles and Voltage Support

The WS500 features auto-sensing that identifies system voltage and automatically adjusts charging to support 12V, 24V, and 48V profiles. Standard profiles for eight battery types can be configured onboard or customized with a PC, accommodating various battery technologies.
