Mastervolt 83301202 – Charge Mate 1202 (12/24 V, 120 A Battery Isolator Relay, IP21)
The Mastervolt Charge Mate 1202 (83301202) is a robust, compact battery isolator designed for small 12 V and 24 V systems where maintaining the integrity of the starter battery is essential. This electro-mechanical relay enables automatic battery bank connection during charging phases, allowing the alternator or charger to serve both batteries, while isolating them during discharge to prevent the auxiliary battery from draining the primary.
With its 120 A current rating and high inrush tolerance (up to 2000 A for 250 ms), the Charge Mate 1202 supports demanding start-up loads and ensures long service life. Its 5-second connection delay prevents cycling from transient voltages. The unit is CE-certified and IP21-rated for use in dry, protected environments.
