The Mastervolt 46628152 - Alpha Compact 28/150 Volvo Penta, including the Alpha Pro III charge regulator, is an optimized alternator designed to deliver continuous high-power output in energy storage applications. Combined with the Alpha Pro regulators, it creates a high-performance, plug-and-play charging solution suitable for all battery types, including Lithium Ion.

These automotive-style alternators offer numerous advantages, such as lower weight, smaller dimensions, and reduced fuel consumption compared to conventional alternators. The open construction with double internal fans and an integrated temperature sensor controlling the operating temperature contributes to its exceptional performance.

Models

Accessories

Freewheeling multigroove pulleys are available in various diameters and widths for an optimal pulley ratio and belt alignment. An exception is the Alpha Compact 14/200, which comes with a multigroove pulley as standard. Isolation bushings allow isolated operation by connecting the negative pole of Alpha Compact alternators to the housing. Modern Euro 5/6 engines with an auto start/stop system can be accommodated with multiple solutions to detect a running engine.
