The Lowrance HALO20+ Radar is a powerful radar system designed for marine applications. With its 20-inch display and a range of up to 36 nautical miles, it provides accurate and detailed information about your surroundings.

This radar system has received various approvals to ensure compliance with industry standards. It is compliant with FCC regulations, Part 47 CFR 80 and 90. It also meets the requirements of RED and Article 3 of Directive 99/5/EC for CE certification. Additionally, it is approved by Industry Canada and complies with RSS238 standards. The HALO20+ Radar also carries the RCM (C-Tick) certification and meets the electrical safety standards of IEC60945.

When it comes to electrical specifications, the HALO20+ Radar has a maximum power consumption of 29W and a typical power consumption of 20W. It is recommended to use a 5A fuse rating for this radar system. It operates within a supply voltage range of 10.5 - 31.2 VDC, suitable for 12/24V systems.

In terms of environmental conditions, the HALO20+ Radar is designed to withstand high humidity levels of up to 95% RH at 35°C (95°F). It can also operate within a wide temperature range from -25° to +55°C (-13° to +130°F). With an IPX6 waterproof rating, it can handle water splashes and light rain.

The physical dimensions of the HALO20+ Radar are 510mm in diameter and 223mm in height (20" dia x 8.8" H). It weighs 5.9 kg (13 lbs) without the cable.

In terms of radar capabilities, the HALO20+ Radar has a beam width of 4.9° H nominal (-3dB) and 2.5° with target separation on high x 25° V. It offers a maximum range of 36 nautical miles and can detect wind speeds of up to 100 knots (51 m/s). The minimum range is 50 meters / 200 feet / 50 yards.

The HALO20+ Radar offers various radar modes, including Harbour, Offshore, Weather, Bird, Dual Range, North Up, Course Up, Relative motion, and True Motion. It utilizes Pulse Compression radar technology and can rotate at speeds of up to 60 RPM, depending on the selected range.
