Install the IC-M400BBE VHF marine radio on board to save space. This black box transceiver has a two-piece configuration, with all functions controlled via the supplied handheld unit. The RF unit, IC-M400BBE, can be installed in an out-of-sight place.
Experience the new intuitive user interface shared with Icom's latest models. The dot-matrix display shows software key functions that can be toggled with the left and right buttons.
Enjoy clear communication with the built-in bidirectional active noise cancelling, reducing background noise by up to 90%. Transmit your voice and receive incoming calls with improved clarity.
The IC-M400BBE features a built-in 10 W amplifier that enhances the audio output from an additional external speaker. Use the public address function to make announcements from the microphone like a loudspeaker, and emit foghorn sounds from the external speaker.
Stay connected with the built-in Class D DSC watch function, monitoring Ch. 70 (DSC channel) activity even while receiving another channel. DSC functions include distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety, position request/report, polling request, and DSC test calls.
The IC-M400BBE comes with a built-in GNSS receiver and a supplied GNSS antenna.
