The Digital Yacht Windsense Wireless Wind System is designed to provide accurate and reliable wind data to smartphones, tablets, and laptops on board your vessel. The system features an ultra-tough Mast Head Unit equipped with Igildur™ bearings, ensuring exceptional durability and corrosion resistance in harsh marine environments. The Wind Transducer transmits data through a super-thin 20-meter digital cable, offering fast NMEA0183 ($MWV) updates to the below-deck wireless interface. The wireless interface then streams wind data to compatible apps or navigation software, enabling users to view critical data such as Apparent Wind, True Wind*, Close Haul, and Running data on devices like iOS, Android, Mac, or Windows devices. Additionally, up to 7 devices can receive the same data simultaneously, allowing the whole crew or family to stay updated on the wind conditions.

In addition to wind data, the Windsense system allows you to multiplex other NMEA0183 data such as GPS, Instruments, or AIS with the wind data. This combined data can then be streamed wirelessly to your mobile devices and apps. The system operates on 12/24V DC and has minimal power consumption, ensuring efficiency while on board. The Mast Head Unit can also function independently as an NMEA0183 wind transducer, providing further versatility. LED status indicators and an alignment switch make installation and setup easy, while the 20-meter ultra-thin mast cable ensures simple and discreet routing for a clean and tidy installation.
