The Digital Yacht ZDIGJB1 JB1 Junction Box is the perfect solution for NMEA 0183 and power connections in marine systems. NMEA 0183, a two-wire communication protocol, lacks standard color codes or connector types, requiring installers to devise their own solutions. This junction box simplifies the connection process by providing a reliable interface for connecting NMEA "talkers" (devices that transmit data) to "listeners" (devices that receive data).

The JB1 junction box features a patented spring lock terminal system from Wago, allowing for quick and secure connections with various cable sizes. With its compact, waterproof design measuring just 105 x 70 x 35mm, it's suitable for harsh marine environments. The box includes three inlet glands, expandable if needed, and comes with Wago junction blocks for both power and NMEA connections.

Installation is straightforward: lift the lever, insert the cables into the block, and snap shut for reliable connections. The box accepts cables ranging from 0.25mm to 4mm and can accommodate smaller cables twisted together. Velcro pads are provided for mounting Wago connectors onto the internal base, ensuring ease of connection and waterproofing up to IPX6 standards.
