The Digital Yacht ZDIGIASTX AIS Transponder with WiFi Interface is designed to meet the needs of boaters who rely on tablets like iPads or Android devices for navigation. As a full-function Class B AIS transponder, the iAISTX transmits your vessel's position and identity data to other AIS-equipped vessels. It also provides a wireless interface that allows popular navigation apps to display real-time AIS and GPS data, making it ideal for those who prefer mobile devices for their onboard navigation tasks. This transponder helps boaters stay aware of other vessels in the area, including data such as CPA (Closest Point of Approach) and TCPA (Time to Closest Point of Approach).

The iAISTX creates a secure, password-protected local Wi-Fi network that transmits AIS and GPS data to apps such as Navionics, iSailor, iNavX, and TimeZero, allowing boaters to track AIS targets on their mobile devices. With an easy-to-use embedded web interface, configuration is simple—just access the device through your browser to enter details like MMSI, boat name, and network settings. Installation is straightforward with a supplied external GPS antenna and the option to connect to a dedicated VHF antenna or use an AIS-VHF antenna splitter. The iAISTX is powered by a low 2W consumption and operates on both 12V and 24V systems, making it efficient and easy to integrate into any vessel's setup.
