The Digital Yacht ZDIGGPS160WL - GPS160 Wireless is a cutting-edge GPS antenna designed to provide exceptional positioning accuracy and redundancy for marine navigation. Utilizing GPS, Glonass, and Galileo satellite systems, the GPS160 offers superior performance with typical accuracy better than 3 ft. Its TriNav™ software technology enhances positioning accuracy by mitigating spoofing and local interference.
The GPS160 Wireless model features a GPS antenna paired with Digital Yacht's NMEA to WiFi gateway, enabling wireless navigation with tablets and iPads. The device offers various modes and output configurations through field programming, including single GNSS operation and adjustable update rates.
With support for both UDP and TCP/IP interfaces, the GPS160 Wireless creates a secure, password-protected WiFi network onboard, allowing seamless data sharing with multiple devices. It also supports a simple external MOB switch, generating AIS MOB messages for quick identification and navigation to man-over-board situations.
Recent updates include the integration of QuadNav™ technology, supporting Chinese Beidou satellites in addition to GPS, Glonass, and Galileo, resulting in improved accuracy, robustness against jamming and spoofing, and reduced power consumption. The GPS160 is supplied with Digital Yacht's Smart WLN10 NMEA to WiFi gateway and offers sub 1m accuracy, making it an ideal choice for marine navigation applications.
