This transponder operates with a 5W power output, 2.5 times more powerful than a regular Class B, and uses the SOTDMA format to guarantee a time slot for transmission in busy traffic areas. The AIT5000 ensures fast update rates and reliable performance, making it ideal for future-proof satellite tracking applications. It is also fully compatible with Class B and Class A systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing equipment.

One of the key features of the AIT5000 is its patented ZeroLoss VHF-AIS antenna splitter, allowing you to share the main VHF antenna with the VHF, AIS, and FM radio, reducing the need for additional antennas. The system also includes a wireless interface, enabling you to connect your device to iPads, smartphones, and tablets for easy access to AIS and GPS data. The AIT5000 creates a secure, password-protected Wi-Fi network, allowing real-time AIS data to be sent to popular apps like Navionics, iSailor, TimeZero, and more. This lets you view AIS targets and detailed information such as collision avoidance data, CPA (Closest Point of Approach), and TCPA (Time to Closest Point of Approach). The AIT5000 supports both TCP and UDP protocols, allowing up to 7 devices to connect and view the data simultaneously.
