Digital Yacht introduces a new range of Class B+ AIS transponders with the AIT2500 model. This advanced transponder operates on the Class B+ standard, featuring SOTDMA format transmissions. With a power output of 5W (2.5 times more powerful than regular Class B transponders), guaranteed time slots for transmission in busy traffic areas, and faster update rates based on vessel speed, the AIT2500 is ideal for ocean sailors, fast power boats, and smaller non-mandated commercial vessels. Despite its advanced features, it remains interoperable with existing Class B and Class A systems.

The AIT2500 offers full-functionality with NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and USB data outputs. It comes equipped with a GPS antenna and requires connection to a VHF antenna or suitable VHF-AIS antenna splitter. Additionally, it offers an option for an AIS SART alarm, enhancing safety especially when used with personal AIS MOB devices.
