The Digital Yacht ZDIG4GCPRO - 4G Connect PRO 2G/3G/4G is a comprehensive 4G (LTE) internet access solution tailored for boat owners. Featuring advanced MIMO technology with dual antennas, it offers fast and long-range internet access. With a built-in WiFi router, multiple devices can connect wirelessly, while also providing wired LAN and WAN ports for connection to high-power WiFi devices or satellite modems.
The Pro model includes two external high-gain antennas for exceptional long-range performance, making it the recommended choice for marine applications. It comes unlocked, allowing users to use a data SIM card from any mobile provider. The product is optimized for European cruising yachtsmen, particularly with the Vodafone network's lower frequencies and competitive data roaming allowances.
Operation is straightforward: users simply turn it on, connect to the password-protected WiFi hotspot it creates, and their device is online. Additionally, Digital Yacht's booster WiFi antenna can be connected to the WAN port for a choice between hotspot WiFi and 4G connectivity. The device also supports connection to the LAN port, providing boat NMEA data on the WiFi network for use with navigation apps.
