The Blue Sea 1992 - PowerBar 1000 is an advanced power distribution system designed for complex wiring applications, providing a single point for consolidating large and small conductors. This powerful 1,000 Amp busbar is constructed from tin-plated pure electrical copper, ensuring maximum conductivity. Its stepped bus design allows for two different elevations for conductors, effectively doubling the wire loom density compared to traditional busbars. The design is optimized for easy attachment of multiple fuse blocks, eliminating the need for connecting cables. The PowerBar 1000 is equipped with 8 terminal studs, each 5/16" in size, capable of handling significant electrical loads. The one-piece serrated flange nuts provide secure and reliable connections, while the stainless steel screws with captive lock washers ensure smaller gauge wires are firmly secured. The busbar is customizable, with the ability to be cut to a shorter length to fit constrained spaces. The included snap-on insulating cover meets both ABYC and USCG requirements, with a label recess for easy identification. With bi-directional end caps, additional busbars can be ganged together for expanded capacity, making it a versatile and essential component for large-scale electrical systems.
