B&G NAC-3 Core Pack
The B&G NAC-3 Core Pack is a comprehensive autopilot system designed for vessels above 10 meters/35 feet in length. It includes the high-current NAC-3 autopilot computer, Precision-9 compass, and RF-25 rudder feedback unit.
The NAC-3 Autopilot Computer serves as the central control unit for your B&G autopilot system. It features the necessary electronics to operate a hydraulic steering pump or mechanical drive unit, as well as interface with heading sensors and rudder feedback units. Specifically designed for larger boats, the NAC-3 is capable of handling high-current pumps, mechanical drive units, and solenoid valves.
The B&G Reflex Sailing algorithms provide advanced autopilot functionality, while the plug and play installation ensures easy setup. With a 12/24V input and 8A continuous output (12A peak), the NAC-3 offers reliable performance. It also includes solenoid output capability, a 3A clutch output, and an optional Auto/Standby Switch.
The Precision-9 Compass is a compact and reliable sensor that provides accurate heading and rate-of-turn information to Simrad, B&G, and Lowrance autopilot, radar, and navigation systems. Its solid-state technology allows for easy installation on any vessel, and it offers heading, rate of turn (ROT), roll, and pitch output over NMEA 2000®.
The RF25 Rudder Feedback Unit is a medium-duty rudder feedback unit with a micro-C interface. It seamlessly integrates with industry-standard micro-C systems, providing precise and accurate measurement of up to +/- 120 degrees with a tolerance of only +/- 0.5 degrees. The included 5.5m micro-C cable ensures convenient connectivity.
Included in the box are the NAC-3 Course Computer, Precision-9 Compass, RF25 Rudder Feedback Unit, NMEA 2000 Backbone kit, and documentation for easy installation and setup.
