The B&G NAC-2 Core Pack is a comprehensive autopilot system designed for smaller vessels. It includes the NAC-2 Autopilot Computer, Precision-9 Compass, RF-25 Rudder Feedback Unit, and all necessary documentation.

NAC-2 Autopilot Computer

The NAC-2 Autopilot Computer serves as the intelligent core of your autopilot system. It features advanced control algorithms that allow your yacht to navigate through various weather conditions and sea-states. The NAC-2 is compatible with hydraulic or mechanical drive units, as well as heading sensors and rudder feedback units. It is specifically designed for boats up to 10 meters (33 feet) in length and supports low-current hydraulic drives, mechanical drives, or solenoid valves with a current rating of 8 Amps continuous (16 Amps peak).

B&G Reflex Sailing Algorithms

The NAC-2 Autopilot Computer utilizes B&G's innovative Reflex Sailing algorithms, which ensure precise and efficient navigation. With plug and play installation, it offers a seamless setup process. The computer has a 12/24V input, 8A continuous output (12A peak), solenoid output capability, and a 3A clutch output. It also provides an optional Auto/Standby Switch for enhanced control.

Precision-9 Compass

The Precision-9 Compass is a reliable and compact device that supplies accurate heading and rate-of-turn information to your autopilot, radar, and navigation systems. It utilizes solid-state sensor technology and offers easy installation on any vessel. The compass provides heading, rate of turn, roll, and pitch output over NMEA 2000. It ensures precise calculations by utilizing data from 9 axes of rotation and motion. The Precision-9 Compass boasts an IPX7 waterproof rating and can be easily mounted on a bulkhead or up-mast.

RF25 Rudder Feedback Unit

The RF25 Rudder Feedback Unit is a medium duty device with a micro-C interface. It seamlessly integrates with industry-standard micro-C systems for straightforward installation. The feedback unit provides precise and accurate rudder angle measurement, with a tolerance of +/- 0.5 degrees. It comes with a 5.5m attached micro-C cable for convenient connectivity.
