The Max Power Stern Pod provides an innovative solution for the challenging task of installing a thruster into the stern of modern motor yachts. Overcoming the difficulties of combining a dry area on the stern with the correct immersion depth and sufficient access can be a daunting task. However, the Stern Pod units have been specifically designed with these constraints in mind.
Unlike traditional installation methods that require inside access, the Stern Pod units can be installed entirely from the outside of the transom. This not only simplifies the installation process but also allows for a greater immersion depth to be achieved, improving the efficiency and performance of the thruster.
The housing of the Stern Pod is fully waterproof and ignition protected (ISO 8846), ensuring its durability and ability to withstand the corrosive damp atmosphere of the bilge. Each Stern Pod unit is meticulously assembled and rigorously tested in our factory to guarantee long-term trouble-free operation with only minimal maintenance care required.
