The Max Power Stern Pod provides a clever solution for the often challenging task of installing a thruster into the stern of modern motor yachts. Meeting the requirements of having a dry area on the stern, appropriate immersion depth, and sufficient access can be quite demanding. However, the Stern Pod units are specially designed to address these constraints, allowing for installation entirely from the outside of the transom, thus minimizing the need for inside access. As a result, a greater immersion depth can be achieved.

The housing of the Stern Pod is waterproof and ignition protected, meeting the ISO 8846 standard. This ensures its durability in the corrosive and damp atmosphere of the bilge. Each Stern Pod unit is fully assembled and tested in our factory to guarantee long-term trouble-free operation with minimal maintenance required.
