Please note that the Vetus VENT76A Electric Blower is not intended for use in supplying air to the vessel's engines. Marine engines are designed to draw sufficient air through ventilation openings. Installing an exhaust fan in the air duct leading to the engine could cause the electric motor to overheat, potentially damaging the system. These fans are designed to remove hot air from the engine room when engines are not running, or to eliminate gasoline vapors in gasoline-powered vessels before engine startup.
