Please note that we do not recommend using such exhaust fans to supply air to the vessel's engines. Marine engines are designed to draw in sufficient air through ventilation openings in the engine room. Installing an exhaust fan in the air duct leading to the engine can cause the electric motor to overheat, as it may operate at higher speeds than intended. These fans are primarily designed to remove hot air from the engine room when the engines are not running or, in the case of gasoline engines, to eliminate gasoline vapors before starting the engine(s).
