Introducing the revolutionary Constrictor® sailing deck hardware by Plastimo. This cutting-edge system is three times lighter and has twice the breaking load of traditional metal clutches, making it a game-changer for both racing and cruising. It utilizes the innovative squeezing capacity of braided sleeves, specifically designed with Aramid Technora® to ensure maximum efficiency.

Unlike conventional clutches, the Constrictor® does not press the line between two metallic parts, preventing distortion, wear, and chafing. Instead, the line is instantly squeezed as tension is applied, with the holding power increasing as the tension increases. And releasing the line is as simple as retracting the sleeve, even under heavy load.

With a break load of 750 daN for a 6mm rope and 450 daN for a 5mm rope, the Constrictor® is a reliable and durable choice for any sailing adventure. Its compact design, with a length of only 55mm and a weight of just 155g, makes it a convenient and efficient addition to your deck hardware.
