Plastimo 60765 - Grade 40 Calibrated Short-link Chain Ø 12 mm 100 m

Our chain range undergoes galvanisation according to the EN ISO 1461 standard, ensuring a minimum 58 micron zinc coating. To maintain consistent galvanisation quality, we subject our chains to regular testing in accelerated seawater environments. Our engineered process enhances zinc adhesion to the metal, extending the chain's lifespan. The hot-dip galvanisation process involves zinc, though certain marinas may experience heightened galvanic currents, potentially leading to chain deterioration. For such scenarios, we recommend using mooring anodes (ref. 38266 & 38267) to safeguard both the chain and the boat's metallic components.
