The Plastimo 477519 Battery Isolator is an advanced electronic device featuring MOSFET technology (MOS transistors). Designed as RCE isolators (Répartiteurs de Charge Electronique), they offer optimal battery charging performance without any voltage drop or increased battery temperature, unlike traditional splitters that may experience a voltage loss of approximately 0.7V.
These battery isolators excel at isolating battery banks and automatically directing the current load to the battery with the lowest charge. They can operate on either 12V or 24V power from various energy sources, such as alternators, wind generators, solar panels, chargers, and more.
With 2 inputs and 3 outputs, the Plastimo 477519 Battery Isolator enables the complete and rapid charging of 2 or 3 battery banks. It features a convenient connection setup, where the positive battery connects to threaded rods and the negative battery connects to the Faston terminal at the common (reference) minus. An operation status indicator displays the operational voltage, and the isolator ensures natural cooling for efficient performance.
This battery isolator complies with the following standards: EN 50081-1 (emission), EN 50082-1 (immunity), and EN 60950-1 (safety). Its compact dimensions of 158mm x 146mm x 85mm make it suitable for various installations. With a charge current of 100A, it offers reliable power distribution to your battery banks.
