The Plastimo 16738 - Shackle Stainless Steel - 4mm X2 features a unique design with two threads: one for introducing the pin into the shackle and another for securely closing it. With this design, the risk of losing the pin is significantly reduced as the pin can only be completely unscrewed for removal. This standard D-schackle has a break load of 1050 kg and a safe working load of 450 kg. Made of stainless steel, it has a diameter of 4 mm, length of 15 mm, and width of 8 mm.

When you open the shackle, the pin drops onto the second thread.
The only possible way to remove the pin is to unscrew it completely, hence a very limited risk of losing the pin.
