Plastimo 1030102HSA - Map SHOM 0102HSA Planisphere
SHOM, the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the French Navy, brings you the latest version of nautical charts, including the most recent updates. Compliant with SOLAS convention regulations for carriage requirements, these charts use the meter as the reference unit.
Navigators are familiar with the evolution of nautical charts, and Shom continuously collects and processes information necessary for navigation, publishing it on these charts. Expert cartographers analyze, select, and compile data to obtain a graphical synthesis of mapped information, using a wide range of sources such as bathymetric databases, wrecks, buoyage systems, undersea cables, and advice from nautical experts and specialists.
Keeping your chart folio up to date is essential, incorporating new hydrographic data, regulations, modifications of navigation marks, or harbor infrastructure. In the SHOM descriptive chart lists, you'll find detailed information about the chart, including number, title, scale, mid-latitude, year of issue, and other relevant details.
The standard nautical chart is printed on 150 gr/m² flat paper, generally close to A0 format, with large, medium, and small-scale charts available for different navigation needs. Insets featuring main ports, harbors, and other relevant details are included based on the navigation zone.
SHOM charts are corrected daily and printed on request, incorporating the latest updates. The year of printing is indicated on the chart.
