Osmoboat is a reverse osmosis system for the production of oligomineral drinking water. Reverse osmosis technology relies on the use of semipermeable membranes that let in water but trap some of the dissolved salts, bacteria, viruses, pesticides, and heavy metals. The water supplied to the system is pretreated in a 5-micron filter, which traps suspended solids, and a carbon filter, which removes chlorine and unpleasant odors. Osmoboat's drinking water treatment systems are light and compact, complying with Ministerial Decree No. 174 of 6 April 2004.
