The W480 device is a Man Over Board (MOB) signalling system, compliant with Class M and AMRD type A. Designed to be worn on life vests or oilskins, it activates within 5 seconds of a person falling overboard. The device includes a built-in GPS receiver that transmits the MOB position via DSC and AIS.
- MOB compliant with Class M, AMRD type A
- AIS operating modes (AIS1 and AIS2, power 2 W) and DSC
- Open Loop or Close Loop operation (depending on the competent authority)
- MMSI programmable through application
