It activates within 5 seconds of falling overboard, with the in-built GPS receiver communicating the MOB position via AIS transmission in AIS1 and AIS2 operating modes (power 2 W). The device features manual and automatic activation when coming into contact with water, making it particularly useful in case of unconscious shipwrecked individuals. The high-efficiency flashing light aids rescuers in pinpointing the shipwrecked’s precise location during poor visibility or bad weather conditions.
