The Victron Quattro 12/5000/120 is an advanced inverter/charger system engineered for high-demand marine, off-grid, and industrial power applications. It combines a 5000 VA pure sine wave inverter with a powerful 220 A smart battery charger and dual AC input capability, allowing automatic switching between two independent AC sources such as shore and generator power.
This unit is ideal for 12V systems operating in dynamic energy environments. It ensures uninterrupted AC supply, advanced lithium battery charging, and safe load management. The integrated charger uses a 4-stage algorithm (Bulk, Absorption, Float, Storage) with a charging voltage of 14.4 V to maximize battery life and performance.
The Quattro supports both PowerAssist and PowerControl technologies — it can draw additional current from the battery to support peak loads and limit incoming AC current to avoid overloads. Additionally, the system can be expanded in both parallel (up to 6 units) and three-phase configurations (3 units per phase).
