The Smart BMS 12/200 is the central safety and control unit for Victron Lithium LiFePO₄ battery systems. It enables safe operation of the battery bank by continuously monitoring cell voltage, temperature, and balance state via direct connection to the battery’s internal electronics (BTV). The BMS ensures long service life and optimal operation by managing the power flow and disconnecting the load or charge source if dangerous conditions arise.
