The Osculati 01.211.05 Grippy Basic Signalling Buoy is a highly functional and innovative buoy designed for marine signaling purposes.

This buoy is equipped with two fully watertight chambers housing electronic and mechanical parts, ensuring reliability and preventing malfunctions caused by the marine environment. With a compact and lightweight design, featuring a 200-mm diameter and weighing only 1.2 to 1.5 kg, it is easy to handle and deploy.

The ABR version of the Grippy buoy incorporates pioneering technology that prevents the line from sliding when the buoy exceeds a 90° inclination during anchor retrieval, allowing for easy recovery without the need for a boat hook.

The Grippy buoy is designed to be connected to the anchor crown, automatically unwinding its line during anchor deployment. Its self-adjusting line allows the buoy to float perpendicular to the anchor, effectively signaling its position. Additionally, the buoy is equipped with solar-powered night lights (available in LIGHT, HEAVY, and ABR versions) for visibility during low light conditions.

In the event of a tangled anchor, the buoy can be tripped by retrieving the buoy rope, which has a breaking load exceeding 500 kg in the BASIC and LIGHT versions, and 1200 kg in the HEAVY and ABR versions. When retrieving the anchor, the Grippy buoy automatically winds its line and positions itself under the boat bow for easy retrieval. It comes with a convenient stanchion support (available in LIGHT, HEAVY, and ABR versions) and a pull-out visual signaller.
