The Grippy Heavy Signalling Buoy by Osculati, model 01.211.03, is designed with two completely sealed chambers housing electronic and mechanical components. This feature protects the buoy from potential issues caused by exposure to saltwater. The buoy is highly lightweight and compact, with a diameter of only 200 mm and a weight ranging from 1.2 kg to 1.5 kg.

The ABR version features a revolutionary system that locks the buoy shackle when the GRIPPY tilt exceeds 90° during anchor retrieval, allowing the buoy to be lifted directly by its shackle without the need for a winch.

The GRIPPY shackle connects to the anchor's shank and automatically unravels upon anchor deployment. An automatically adjustable mechanism allows GRIPPY to float precisely above the anchor's location, indicating its position.

During nighttime, GRIPPY automatically activates its signal lights, charged by solar panels during the day (available in LIGHT, HEAVY, and ABR variants).

You can release a stuck anchor from the buoy, with a breaking load exceeding 500 kg (BASIC, LIGHT) or 1200 kg (HEAVY, ABR). After raising the anchor, GRIPPY automatically rewinds the shackle, remaining under the yacht's bow. The product comes with a convenient holder for attachment to the lifeline stanchion (available in LIGHT, HEAVY, ABR) and a removable signal light.
