The Osculati 50.243.12 is a last-generation variable RPM generator designed to offer manufacturers and shipbuilders the advantages of small size and adjustable power. Its innovative engine speed control system ensures that only the required power is generated, thereby reducing emissions and fuel consumption.

The generator is equipped with a W/A intercooler system, guaranteeing optimal performance regardless of external ambient temperatures. This system maintains ideal temperatures for both the alternator and the engine, enhancing the overall reliability and efficiency of the gen-set.

The engine of the Osculati 50.243.12 is designed for easy access during maintenance procedures. It includes accessible power and lubrication systems, a sea water pump, and an air filter. Safety features such as automatic shutdown in case of low oil pressure or overtemperature of the engine and exhaust gas ensure safe operation. Additionally, the generator is equipped with easy-to-replace oil and fuel filters, with an oil drain pump provided for convenience.

The alternator of this generator is of the permanent-magnet type, ensuring reliable power generation.

Enclosed within a soundproof cabinet, the frame of the Osculati 50.243.12 is constructed of lightweight coated marine aluminum panels.
