The GARMIN GPS 73 is a heavy-duty and watertight portable GPS unit featuring a 12-channel receiver with a 1-Hz GPS antenna for enhanced precision. It sports a 2.6-inch high-contrast single-color display and can store up to 100 routes for navigation. NMEA 0183 compatibility allows for seamless integration with other devices. You can easily connect it to your computer via USB to transfer data or create routes using the free Garmin HomePort™ software. An exclusive function lets you set a starting line between two points and synchronize it with the regatta countdown timer for precision starts. It also includes an internal database of major cities, landmarks, navigation lights, and lighthouses. Powered by either a 12/24-volt cable (optional) or 2xAA batteries, it measures 6.6 x 15.2 x 3.0 cm and weighs 218.3 g (batteries not included).
