In addition to the features of the MK II model, the MK III version of the Selecta New Battery Switch connects the engine start-up batteries and the service batteries simultaneously in position "1", while keeping the start-up batteries separately with motors to minimize the risk of accidental discharge in case of emergency. The two circuits are connected under position "2".
