The Victron Quattro 24/8000/200 is a high-capacity inverter/charger designed to provide uninterrupted power and advanced battery management in professional marine, industrial, and off-grid energy systems. It delivers 8000 VA of pure sine wave AC output and includes a powerful 200 A smart battery charger for 24V systems.
Unlike standard inverter/chargers, the Quattro supports two AC inputs — allowing automatic switching between shore power and a generator, or two separate generator sources. This ensures seamless power continuity in all scenarios. The integrated battery charger uses a 4-stage algorithm (Bulk, Absorption, Float, Storage) with a charging voltage of 28.8 V, suitable for lithium and lead-acid battery technologies. An additional 4 A auxiliary output is included for smaller or backup battery banks.
With PowerAssist, the Quattro can use battery reserves to help supply power during temporary peaks in AC demand. PowerControl intelligently limits incoming AC current to avoid overloading shore connections or generators. For larger installations, the system supports parallel operation (up to 6 units) and three-phase configuration (3 units per phase, 6x3 max).
