The Victron Multiplus 12/2000/80 is a high-capacity inverter/charger designed for professional-grade energy systems where uninterrupted AC power and advanced battery charging are critical. It integrates a 2000W pure sine wave inverter and a smart 4-stage 80A battery charger into a single compact unit suitable for marine, vehicle, and off-grid applications.
Operates over a wide 9.5–17V DC range, making it compatible with all common 12V battery technologies, including lithium. The inverter delivers stable 230V AC (±2%), while the charger uses a 4-stage charging process — Bulk, Absorption, Float, and Storage — optimized for battery longevity and performance. A secondary 4A charge output is provided for auxiliary batteries.
Dual AC outputs enhance system efficiency and safety. The main output powers critical loads continuously, while the secondary output is only active when an external AC source is detected, ideal for connecting high-draw appliances like water heaters without draining battery reserves.
Scalable in parallel and three-phase configurations (up to 6 units or 6×3 in parallel), this model also includes PowerAssist to supplement peak AC loads from battery reserves, and PowerControl to avoid overloads by managing the charging current based on available shore or generator capacity.
