Osculati 14.268.00 - Victron Multiplus 12/500/20-16 Inverter/Charger
The Victron Multiplus 12/500/20-16 is an integrated energy management solution combining a true sine wave inverter and an intelligent battery charger within a compact aluminum housing. Designed for 12V systems, it supports demanding applications in marine, RV, and off-grid installations, and is compatible with lithium and traditional battery technologies.
The inverter supplies a continuous output of 500W with a stable 230V AC ±2% output, while the built-in battery charger delivers a configurable 4-stage charging profile: bulk, absorption, float, and storage. Thanks to Victron's proprietary PowerAssist and PowerControl functions, the unit can supplement limited shore or generator power by drawing on battery reserves during peak consumption, while safeguarding against overloading the power source.
Parallel and three-phase operation is also supported. Up to 6 units can be connected in parallel, and three identical models can be configured for three-phase output. This system scales efficiently to meet larger energy demands.
Key Features:
- Pure sine wave inverter with 500W continuous power output
- Advanced 4-stage charger: Bulk, Absorption, Float, and Storage
- Compatible with lithium batteries
- Two AC outputs:
- Primary: Always active
- Secondary: Active only when AC input is available (e.g., shore or generator)
- PowerControl – prevents overload of limited AC sources
- PowerAssist – boosts output during short peak demand using battery energy
- Aluminum construction with comprehensive protections:
- Short circuit
- Overvoltage/undervoltage
- Overcharge
- High ripple frequency
- Parallel and three-phase capability (up to 6 x 3 units)
