14.263.03 - Victron Cyrix-I Dual Battery Charger 400A 12/24V
The Victron Cyrix-I 400A dual battery charger relay (Osculati code 14.263.03) is a microprocessor-controlled device designed for automatic battery management in 12V or 24V systems. It connects batteries in parallel when the voltage of one of them rises to the defined threshold, and disconnects them when voltage falls below the floating level. Unlike traditional diode battery isolators, the Cyrix-I does not cause any voltage drop, ensuring more efficient energy transfer.
Technical Specifications
Item Code System Voltage Max Charging Current Peak Current Connection Voltage Disconnection Voltage Dimensions (mm) 14.263.03 12/24 V 400 A 2000 A 13 – 13.8 V ; 26 – 27.6 V 11 – 12.8 V ; 22 – 25.7 V 78 x 102 x 110
Key Features
- Microprocessor-controlled smart relay
- Automatically connects or disconnects battery banks based on voltage thresholds
- Compatible with both 12V and 24V electrical systems
- Zero voltage drop — superior to traditional diode-based separators
- High continuous current capacity up to 400A, with 2000A peak tolerance
- Compact dimensions for easy installation
Applications
- Marine electrical systems with multiple battery banks (starter, service, bow thruster)
- Vehicles and RVs requiring automatic battery management
- Off-grid and backup power systems
Functionality Overview
The Cyrix-I is commonly installed with the alternator connected directly to the starter battery. The relay monitors both battery voltages and, upon detecting sufficient charge in the starter or service battery, it closes the circuit to allow charging in parallel. This ensures all connected battery banks receive a full charge without manual intervention or voltage loss.
