Osculati 14.263.01 - Victron Cyrix-ct Dual Battery Charger 120Ah
The Victron Cyrix-ct is a microprocessor-controlled heavy-duty relay that intelligently manages charging between two battery banks. It ensures that batteries are connected in parallel when charging is detected and automatically separates them once the voltage drops below a floating level. This operation provides efficient energy distribution while protecting both batteries from over-discharge or imbalance.
Unlike traditional diode-based battery isolators, the Cyrix-ct introduces no voltage drop, making it more efficient and ideal for use in marine systems, automotive dual-battery setups, and RVs. In standard installations, the alternator is wired directly to the starter battery. The service battery is then connected via the Cyrix-ct, which monitors the voltage on both batteries and connects them when charging is available from either side.
