The VX1 series windlasses combine lightweight materials and straightforward assembly. Available as Gypsy Only (GO) or Gypsy and Capstan (GD), the deck unit comprises stainless steel and composite parts. Included are motor/gearbox, relay, chain drive, and chain counter sensor, excluding switch and fuse.
Highlights include hybrid chain drive for quieter operation, IP68 and non-sparking motor protection, worm gear transmission, and availability of multiple engine powers (500W to 1500W). Suitable for ships 8.5 to 15 meters (28 to 50 ft). VX2 and VX3 series in 24V are available on demand.
