The Whale BE9006 electric field sensor automatically detects water levels in the bilge and operates the pump with a 30-second delay before switching off. The pump turns on when water reaches 51mm (2") and only stops after the level falls below 13mm (1/2") plus the delay. Made from heat-resistant nylon, this sensor can be mounted on the base or side.
